🏎️ Commercial Operations Manager – 15-Month Fixed Term Contract
📍 Battersea | Hybrid
Want to play a key role in winning new business and bringing some of the most exciting partnerships in Formula 1 to life?
We’re looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to join Right Formula on a 15-month fixed term contract covering maternity, working at the heart of our commercial operations team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves the pace and energy of a pitch: taking a brief, bringing the right people together, shaping a compelling response and helping turn an opportunity into a client.
You’ll own a portfolio of new business opportunities from pitch through to contract, working across our teams in the UK and internationally. You’ll also support the growth of our existing client relationships, help identify new sponsorship opportunities and begin to mentor junior members of the Commercial team.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning pitches end to end – from initial opportunity assessment and RFI/RFP response through to submission, presentation and post-pitch debrief.
- Creating standout proposals – shaping persuasive, commercially strong responses, executive summaries, case studies and pitch materials.
- Bringing teams together – coordinating strategists, creatives, client teams and international colleagues to deliver against demanding deadlines.
- Getting involved in the commercial detail – supporting SOW and work order negotiations, reviewing key commercial terms and working alongside senior colleagues and legal counsel.
- Helping grow existing accounts – identifying opportunities to expand our services and developing new sponsorship ideas for clients.
- Raising the bar on how we pitch – leading rehearsals and debriefs and helping continuously improve our pitch process, templates and commercial materials.
- Supporting the team – mentoring junior colleagues, reviewing their work and helping them develop.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
