Job Opportunity for UK Commercial Banking Operations Experts
We are looking for experienced UK Commercial Banking Operations professionals for a confirmed, short-term Google Gemini AI benchmarking project. This opportunity is specifically for professionals with hands-on experience servicing SME / mid-market / business banking clients within a UK bank.
Engagement Details
- Role: UK Commercial Banking Operations Expert
- Engagement: Freelance / Task-based
- Location: Remote / Global
- Workload: Approx. 11.5 hours per expert
- Project Window: 28 September – 2 October
- Expected Completion: Ideally within 1–2 days after starting
Mandatory Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on UK business/commercial banking servicing or operations experience, with relevant experience within the last 5 years
- Direct experience working at a UK bank, such as NatWest, Lloyds, Barclays UK, HSBC UK, Santander UK, Metro Bank, Allica, or another UK commercial bank
- Strong English communication skills

Highly Relevant Experience
We are particularly interested in professionals with hands-on knowledge of:
- Bacs, CHAPS, Faster Payments and SWIFT
- Payment processing, repairs, recalls, returns and investigations
- Mandates and signatory management
- Dual authorisation and approval limits
- Online/business banking user permissions and entitlements
- Cash management, cash pooling and sweeping
- Commercial banking pricing, fees and reconciliation
- Existing loan servicing, including drawdowns and repayments
⚠️ Please note: Retail banking-only, relationship management without hands-on operations, investment banking, wealth management, credit underwriting, audit, legal, or compliance-only profiles are not suitable for this requirement.
