The PaperCut Story
At PaperCut, we believe two things: great work can change the world, and a great flat white can change your morning.
Now, let's be honest, “print management” doesn't usually make people leap out of their chairs. But here at PaperCut, we've turned what used to be the most boring part of IT into one of the most exciting, impactful, and rewarding places to work in tech. How? Simply put: our work saves trees!
We're a B-Corp certified Australian-headquartered success story on a mission to make our customers' tech footprint waste-free, easy, and secure. Still founder-led right here in Melbourne, our global footprint spans 195 countries, 100,000 companies, and 140 million end users (that’s roughly 1 in every 50 people on the planet!).
Job Description
The Role
Are you ready to step out of reactive troubleshooting and into designing the future of global commercial operations? As our Commercial Operations Specialist, you will serve as the engine of our Go-To-Market team, translating high-level strategy into seamless operational execution. You will own our GTM technology stack, harnessing AI, automation, and systems design to eliminate manual friction, unlock new revenue streams, and build a low-touch, high-efficiency environment built for global scale.
This is a 12-month Parental Leave contract.
What You'll Actually Do
- Drive systems excellence: Act as the global Subject Matter Expert (SME) for GTM platforms (such as HubSpot), establishing global operational standards, policies, and self-service resources to empower the broader GTM team.
- Automate and innovate: Identify and implement light-touch solutions using AI and process workflows to eliminate manual work and accelerate business strategy.
- Architect end-to-end processes: Design seamless workflows across GTM, Finance, and Business Excellence (BEx) to eliminate operational gaps and bottlenecks.
- Bridge strategy and execution: Turn high-level GTM and commercial policies into actionable, day-to-day operations that support quarterly sales targets.
- Support regional and partner operations: Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and handle escalations for Authorized Partners and Resellers where self-service options aren't available.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
