Introduction to Eficode

We’re building the future of software development - driving innovation across Cloud, DevOps, Agile, Service Management, and AI-powered transformation. Our mission is to help organizations evolve into truly software-driven enterprises, empowering them to deliver faster, smarter, and more sustainably. We believe in changing the world by sharing our expertise and enabling teams to work better through modern technology and intelligent automation.

With more than 600 experts across 10 countries, Eficode brings together people from across the Nordics, continental Europe, the UK and the Americas. We’re an Atlassian Platinum Partner, a two-time GitHub Partner of the Year in EMEA and an Azure Managed Service Provider.

Now, we’re looking for a Commercial Paralegal to join us and play an important role in supporting our growing Anglosphere business.

Role purpose

If you enjoy commercial law but also like being close to the business, this could be a great opportunity.

Working within our Bid Office and closely with our Sales and wider Legal teams, you’ll provide commercial legal support across our UK and US businesses. You’ll become a go-to person for day-to-day commercial contract questions and help us move deals forward efficiently.

This is a new role, which means you won’t simply be stepping into an established process. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape how we work - improving templates, developing playbooks and finding better ways to make contracting simpler and more consistent as the business grows.

Role responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements including NDAs, customer terms, statements of work, order forms and framework agreements.
  • Supporting tenders, RFPs and proposals by reviewing contractual requirements and helping identify potential issues early.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for our Anglo Sales team on contractual questions, providing clear and practical guidance or escalating when needed.
  • Working closely with our Legal team on more complex, high-value or non-standard agreements.
  • Helping develop and improve our contract templates, clause library and create playbooks.
  • Managing contract administration, e-signature workflows and ensuring agreements are properly recorded.
  • Looking for recurring bottlenecks or friction in our contracting processes and helping us find smarter ways of working.
  • Supporting Eficode’s Contractor Hub with commercial and contractual matters, including preparing Statements of Work (SOWs) for contractor engagements.
  • Supporting wider legal and compliance activities, including insurance policies and Eficode’s obligations under the Modern Slavery Act.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we’re looking for

You’ll make a great match for this role if you have:

  • At least two years’ experience working with commercial contracts, either in-house or within private practice.
  • Experience independently reviewing and negotiating standard commercial agreements.
  • A law degree (LLB), CILEX qualification, equivalent legal education or relevant paralegal experience.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to make legal and contractual topics understandable to non-legal colleagues.
  • Good judgement around what you can handle independently and when something needs to be escalated.
  • Fluent English language skills and the right to work in the UK.

Nice-To-Have’s

It would be an added bonus if you have:

  • Experience supporting bid, tender or RFP processes, including public sector procurement.
  • Familiarity with software licensing or reseller agreements.
  • Experience working in a matrixed or multi-country organisation.
  • Exposure to data protection and information security contractual terms, including GDPR, DPAs and security schedules.
  • Experience contributing to template, clause library or playbook development.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management or e-signature tools.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.

About you

We’re looking for someone who combines legal attention to detail with a commercial mindset.

You understand that good commercial legal support is about helping the business move forward while managing risk appropriately. You’re confident making decisions within your remit, but equally comfortable recognising when something needs specialist Legal input.

You’ll also enjoy working collaboratively with different teams. We want our Sales colleagues to see you as an approachable partner they can involve early, rather than someone they only speak to when there’s a problem.

Most importantly, you’ll be comfortable joining a growing function where not everything is already set in stone. If you like spotting opportunities to improve processes and helping build better ways of working, you’ll have plenty of scope to make an impact here.
