Commercial Partnership & Events Manager
Based: Mudeford, nr Bournemouth

Salary: Up to 50K

We are delighted to be working with Advantage Padel to appoint a Commercial Partnerships & Events Manager to deliver a full calendar of member and community events and initiate, develop and build brand partnerships and sponsorships across the group. With 3 clubs already open in Mudeford, Kingsley and Nottingham and several more clubs in the pipeline this is a newly created and exciting opportunity to make a real impact to the commercial performance of each venue.

Key responsibilities:

  • Proactively sell corporate events and group bookings to local businesses
  • Build and manage a pipeline of corporate clients — from prospecting and proposals through to confirmed bookings
  • Sell kids camps directly to schools, building relationships with school sport coordinators
  • Deliver a full programme of events and partnership activations at each club.
  • Deliver larger-scale headline events – tournaments, festivals.
  • Initiate partnerships and activate sponsorship opportunities through events to drive commercial performance.
  • Work alongside external marketing partners to maximise engagement and brand exposure through digital marketing campaigns
  • Support with coordination of operational management of events, including staffing, catering and suppliers.

Ideal backgrounds will be:

  • 5+ years’ experience in event and /or sponsorship management in sports, hospitality or leisure.
  • Have the calibre and gravitas to manage relationships with national/international brands and large enterprise corporate sponsors.
  • Proven track record of winning new business through your own outreach.
  • Have strong digital awareness including the power of compelling content creation.
  • Ability to work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passionate about bringing communities together to create memorable experiences.
  • You must have a full UK driving licence and willing to travel between clubs

In addition to a basic salary of up to 50K, annual holiday is 28 days per annum, contributory pension and paid travel between clubs.
