PURPOSE

The Commercial Partnerships Executive supports the successful management and activation of the ECB's commercial partnerships, helping to deliver innovative, insight-led programmes that create value for partners and advance the ECB's commercial strategy.

The role coordinates partnership activities across marketing, digital, events and communications, supports relationship management with key sponsors and contributes to campaign delivery, reporting and matchday operations.

Through excellent organisation, stakeholder management and attention to detail, the role helps deliver best-in-class partnership experiences that support both partner objectives and the ECB's ambition to inspire and grow the game of cricket.

YOU’LL BE DOING

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day management of a portfolio of ECB commercial partners, helping to build strong relationships and deliver excellent partner service.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of partnership activation campaigns, ensuring programmes are executed effectively and in line with partner objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams including Marketing, Digital, Events, Communications and Content to deliver integrated partnership activity.
  • Coordinate partner requests, campaign deliverables, content opportunities and player appearances, ensuring all activity is delivered to a high standard and on time.
  • Support the delivery of matchday and event activations, including partner hosting and stakeholder management at England Cricket and The Hundred fixtures.
  • Manage partnership administration, timelines and servicing budgets, ensuring accurate record keeping and effective project coordination.
  • Help measure partnership performance by gathering insights, tracking agreed objectives and contributing to end-of-campaign and season evaluation reports.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the ECB, demonstrating professionalism and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop creative activation ideas that help partners maximise the value of their ECB rights and assets.
  • Support wider commercial projects, departmental initiatives and opportunities to enhance partnership delivery processes and ways of working.
  • Contribute to partnership strategy discussions by sharing insights, market trends and examples of sponsorship best practice.
  • Assist the Commercial team with ad hoc projects and partnership-related activities as required throughout the cricket calendar.

Please note that this role is office based and requires you to be in the office a minimum of three days per week.

YOU’LL HAVE

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in a client-facing role, whether within partnerships, sponsorship, marketing, events, account management or a similar commercial environment.
  • Excellent organisational, project management and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High levels of attention to detail, accuracy and professionalism, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how sponsorship, marketing and partnership programmes can deliver value against business objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to use initiative and think creatively when supporting partnership activations and campaigns.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word. (Experience with CRM, project management or evaluation tools would be advantageous.)
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and travel when required to support matchdays, events and partner activations.
  • An interest in sport, media, entertainment or commercial partnerships. Knowledge of cricket would be beneficial but is not essential.
