About the Role

The Commercial Performance Analyst role is an exciting opportunity to join a team focused on transforming how we use data to drive commercial success. You’ll play a key role in supporting a transformation of performance reporting, developing new analytical capabilities within the Commercial team, and delivering insights across the business that help shape more dynamic decisions that maximise performance. The role is a core driver as part of the transformation of Commercial reporting that will help develop new and innovative ways to surface, interpret, and act on proactive performance data by turning complex data sets into actionable insights that drive decision-making and unlock value across the business.

Key to Your Success

  • Being able to articulate complex pieces of information into stories and outputs which are understood by a range of seniority and experience levels,
  • Maintaining good relationships with external suppliers to ensure strong collaboration on model accuracy.

What You’ll Do

  • Working as part of the Commercial Performance team, demonstrate commerciality and curiosity to provide proactive, data-led insights that support improved commercial decision-making across all areas.
  • Work closely with colleagues in Contribution Management, Sales, and Operations to understand business needs and translate them into actionable and proactive analysis.
  • Working alongside stakeholders across the Commercial business areas and with Data & Analytics team, develop intuitive real time dashboards and visual tools that bring performance insights to life for stakeholders at all levels in real time.
  • Provide teams across Contribution Management and wider Commercial area with proactive insight that drives improved commercial decision making, helping grow IAG Cargo’s contribution.

It's All About You

What You’ll Bring to IAG Cargo

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in performance reporting and business intelligence
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a commercial setting
  • Advanced analytical ability, with a good understanding of how to build models in Excel or similar as well as Tableau and/or Power BI experience
  • Comfortable working with and managing external suppliers to deliver the correct outcome.
  • Support ad hoc analysis requests and special projects.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems

Skills and Experience

Required

  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and Excel
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to make decisions and exercise sound judgement based on detailed analysis
  • Ability to drive change identified from analysis and decisions
  • A strong team player with energy and drive to achieve the team’s objectives
