Sky Mobile is growing fast – with over 3 million customers and ambitious plans for the year ahead. Our Commercial Strategy Team is at the heart of this growth: we lead the planning cycles, steer key initiatives, and feed the insights that shape Mobile’s biggest decisions. We’re looking for a Commercial Planning and Strategy Manager to help us deliver against stretching targets, oversee our key campaigns, and bring energy and structure to how Sky Mobile plans.

As Commercial Planning and Strategy Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in how Sky Mobile delivers against its targets. Working as part of the planning team, you’ll become our RTM expert and lead key elements of the quarterly planning cycle, while providing critical insights to guide decision-making. You’ll identify opportunities to close performance gaps, drive strategic initiatives to deliver the Mobile budget, and represent Mobile’s interests across the routes to market (RTMs).

What you’ll do:

Quarterly Planning & Forecasting

  • Build and own the quarterly bottom-up forecast (BuB), pulling together KPIs and targets by working with stakeholders across Finance, Trading, Marketing, and Supply Chain
  • Manage KPI phasing and weekly targets, providing clear insight on plan versus PY/ Budget, identifying gaps and opportunities to course-correct

Routes to Market (RTM) Expert

  • Act as Sky Mobile’s RTM expert, developing an in-depth understanding of each RTM to ensure targets are realistic and reflective of performance potential
  • Define quarterly RTM overlays to support sales against commercial priorities, owning the overlay budget and spend decisioning
  • Lead RTM working groups and workshops to engage stakeholders, share best practices, and maintain momentum
  • Partner with GTM teams to ensure alignment and delivery of quarterly plans

Campaign Management & Strategic Insights

  • Own strategy for major Mobile campaigns, including Black Friday, Christmas, Back to School, and Summer Sale
  • Guide GTM and Marketing teams on quarterly plans, ensuring activity is aligned to commercial goals
  • Support the broader Commercial team by feeding in insights and identifying new opportunities for growth

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
