This role is an exciting opportunity to join us and work within our Broadband Commercial Team, influencing the growth and commercial strategy for Sky Broadband.
As a Commercial Planning Manager you will join a passionate team and be a driving force behind Sky Mobile’s planning process. You will be empowered to set the direction not only for quarterly strategy but also through separate workstreams aimed at implementing new ideas and utilising a range of levers to drive growth. This role focuses on the core Broadband Acquisition side of the team, with responsibility for driving Broadband sales.
What you’ll do:
- Commercial Planning: Support the development of Sky Broadband's commercial plans, helping to translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives that drive customer growth, market share, and commercial performance.
- Quarterly Planning & Forecasting: Play a key role in the quarterly planning process by developing forecasts, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting recommendations that balance commercial ambition with achievable delivery. Partner closely with Finance, Trading, and Marketing teams to ensure plans remain on track.
- Commercial Delivery: Support the development and execution of initiatives that drive Broadband growth, including pricing, propositions, speed mix, and in-home connectivity. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively and achieve their commercial objectives.
- Trading & Performance Management: Monitor Broadband acquisition performance throughout the quarter, identifying opportunities and risks through performance analysis. Work alongside Trading, Marketing, and Digital teams to recommend actions that optimise sales performance and commercial outcomes.
- Insight-Led Decision Making: Use customer, market, competitor, and commercial performance insights to identify opportunities, support recommendations, and continuously improve Broadband performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships across Trading, Marketing, Finance, Propositions, Digital, Direct, and other key teams to ensure commercial plans are aligned and successfully delivered.

- Planning & Organisation: Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced commercial environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality outputs.
- Stakeholder Leadership: An effective relationship builder who enjoys working across teams to solve problems, align priorities, and deliver shared outcomes.
- Problem Solver: Proactive and curious, with a structured approach to identifying opportunities, resolving issues, and improving commercial performance.

How you’ll work
