Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team, working across commercial office fit-out, refurbishment, PPM and maintenance projects.
This is a commercial role – no domestic work.
You will be responsible for a mixture of project and maintenance work, including:
- Commercial plumbing and mechanical installations
- Office fit-out and refurbishment projects
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive maintenance, fault finding and remedial works
- Copper, steel and press-fit pipework
- LTHW and associated mechanical services
- Plant rooms, pumps, valves and associated equipment
- Working from mechanical drawings and specifications
- Testing, commissioning and snagging
- Identifying defects and recommending remedial works
- Liaising professionally with clients, building managers and site teams
- Completing PPM reports, service sheets, test records and commissioning documentation

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong commercial plumbing / pipefitting experience
- Experience within commercial office fit-out and refurbishment
- Experience carrying out PPM and commercial maintenance
- Good knowledge of commercial mechanical systems and plant
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- The ability to read and work from mechanical drawings
- A high standard of workmanship
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A professional approach to paperwork, reporting and compliance documentation
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of jobs
- Good communication skills when dealing with clients and site teams
- Relevant plumbing / mechanical qualifications
- Valid CSCS/JIB card as appropriate
- Full UK driving licence
Commercial Gas
Commercial Gas qualifications and experience are highly desirable, particularly experience working with commercial heating systems and plant. Additional qualifications such as unvented hot water, water hygiene/L8 awareness and other relevant commercial mechanical qualifications would be advantageous.

We're looking for more than someone who can simply install pipework. The right person will be reliable, organised and professional, take pride in the quality of their work and be comfortable representing the company in front of clients. You should be equally capable of delivering a high-quality commercial installation and attending an existing building to carry out PPM, diagnose a problem, identify the solution and complete the required paperwork properly.
