A Day in the Life

Job Summary

The Commercial Process Transformation Leader EurAsia is responsible for leading continuous improvement and business transformation initiatives across commercial end-to-end processes. This role identifies opportunities to simplify workflows, improve efficiency, remove bottlenecks, and enhance cross-functional ways of working. The role also leads evaluation and implementation of automation opportunities, including the use of AI agents where appropriate, to support scalable and effective business operations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial process transformation and continuous improvement agenda.
  • Assess end-to-end commercial workflows to identify inefficiencies, duplication, delays, and handoff issues.
  • Redesign and standardize processes, procedures, and ways of working to improve speed, quality, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and future-state process documentation.
  • Identify, prioritize, and support automation opportunities, including AI-enabled use cases where appropriate.
  • Partner across functions to deliver cross-functional process improvements.
  • Lead change management activities to support adoption of new processes and operating models.
  • Track and report benefits realization from transformation and improvement initiatives.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in process improvement, transformation, operational excellence, or business process design.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional improvement initiatives in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial operations and end-to-end process design.
  • Experience with automation, workflow tools, or AI-enabled business solutions is an advantage.

Working Relationships

  • Reports to: VP for Business Operations, EurAsia Enablers
  • Key internal relationships include commercial teams, Business Operations, IT, automation or digital teams, and cross-functional process owners.
  • Engages with leadership and operational teams to prioritize and implement improvements.
  • May collaborate with external consultants or solution providers on transformation initiatives.

  • Spain: 99,200.00 EUR - 148,800.00 EUR
  • United Kingdom: 108,000.00 GBP - 162,000.00 GBP

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
