About FIS

We are FIS. Our technology powers the world’s economy and our teams bring innovation to life. We champion diversity to deliver the best products and solutions for our colleagues, clients and communities. If you’re ready to start learning, growing and making an impact with a career in fintech, we’d like to know: Are you FIS?

About the role

We are not building another finance product. We are redefining how finance teams operate, moving from manual, reactive work to intelligent, autonomous decisioning. This role sits at the heart of that shift. As a Commercial Product Manager Lead focused on cash application, you will help shape how AI, data and workflow automation come together to reduce friction in order to cash and unlock real-time financial intelligence. This is not a delivery role. You are expected to drive product direction through customer insight, commercial impact and bold thinking, with a specific focus on cash application outcomes across finance and accounts receivable workflows.

About the team

We are a mix of product, design, engineering and data science talent who have seen how things usually get built and decided to do it differently.

Some of us come from fintech. Some from enterprise. Some from places where things move fast and break, then get fixed. What we have in common is simple: we do not get excited about maintaining systems. We get excited about changing how things work.

We care about:

  • Understanding what is actually happening with customers
  • Building things that solve real problems, not just tick roadmap boxes
  • Moving fast, but not blindly
  • Calling out when something does not make sense and fixing it

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll do well here if you:

  • Ask high-quality questions
  • Do not wait to be told what to do
  • Can zoom out to strategy and zoom into detail without drama
  • Actually care whether what you build gets used

What you will do

  • Own the cash application product as a business, not just a roadmap, driving adoption, retention and measurable commercial impact
  • Get close to customers to understand how finance and accounts receivable teams operate, where they struggle and where automation breaks down
  • Identify opportunities to replace manual cash application processes with intelligent, scalable workflows powered by AI and data
  • Turn messy real-world payment matching, reconciliation and exception-management challenges into clear, high-impact product solutions
  • Partner with sales and customer success to shape how we position the product, showing real customer value rather than features alone
  • Challenge assumptions continuously, asking whether we are solving the right problem, not just building correctly
  • Contribute to a product vision that moves finance from reporting the past to acting in real time

What we are looking for

  • A commercial product manager who takes ownership of outcomes with a high degree of agency, not just delivery
  • Experience in finance, payments or operational products, particularly order to cash, accounts receivable, billing or cash application
  • Ability to connect the dots between customer workflows, data and automation opportunities
  • A strong customer instinct, with the ability to extract insight beyond what users explicitly say
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how product drives revenue, retention and growth
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and pushing forward without waiting for direction

We are not aiming to incrementally improve finance workflows. We are building toward a future where finance operates with intelligence, automation and real-time decision-making at its core.

What this is not

  • This is not a backlog management role
  • This is not a purely internal product function
  • This is not about shipping features. It is about changing how finance teams work
  • We are not digitising finance. We are making it intelligent.
