Job Title: Commercial Project Controls Analyst / Manager
Location: Lincoln (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 12 months+
Hourly Rate: £22.50 – £37.00 depending on PAYE or Umbrella route
Working Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Our client is seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Project Controls Analyst / Manager to join their team in Lincoln. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the financial and contractual management of engineering projects within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage project budgets, ensuring financial compliance and cost control.
- Conduct financial reporting and forecasting to support project success.
- Administer contracts and manage commercial risks effectively.
- Engage with stakeholders to maintain alignment with organisational objectives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Qualifications / Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, CIMA preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate project risks and financial data.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in project management tools and financial software.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder coordination and presentation of financial data.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Background in commercial finance, project controls, or related experience within engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, or energy environments is highly desirable.
This role is best described as a commercial project controls position with a significant emphasis on finance and contracts rather than traditional project management.
