We’re looking for a Commercial Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you’ll be reporting to the Commercial Head of Operations and support the relevant Project Manager in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Co-leading Projects together with the Project Manager, in managing and optimizing targeted financial results, with the objective of executing the project according to the defined Project Management (PM) standards, customer requirements and the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG).
- Ensures the accuracy of cost and pricing calculations, as well as overall project books and records.
- Prepares commercial documentation for regular project status meetings and ensures the accuracy of the commercial project data including the forecasting of revenue, profit and cash.
- Initiates invoicing according to project progress and contractual terms.
- Actively manages cost and invoices to optimize project cash flow.
- Ensures compliance with FRG requirements.
- Ensures the application and continuous management of financial guarantees, bonds and project securities.
- Supports the Project Manager in identifying and minimizing non-conformance costs (NCCs).
- Ensures Finance consistency and accuracy.
- Supports the Project Manager in identifying, evaluating and assessing risks & opportunities.
- Ensures that timely contractual notifications are made.
- Together with the Project Manager and Commercial Contracts Manager; proactively manages contract administration.
- Manages customer expectations together with the Project Manager.

What You Bring
- A project professional that has experience in the commercial aspects and project financials (controlling & reporting) of engineering and construction projects.
- A practitioner with 5 to 10 years experience in one of these fields: Financial Controlling / Financial Accounting / Commercial Project Management / Business Administration.
- Competent in Financial Accounting / Management.
- Knowledge and familiarity with contract terms of Engineering and Construction Contracts.
- Experience in project budgeting and financial management of risks/opportunities.
- Chartered Accountant or similar would be advantageous (CIMA / ACCA).
- Competent in working collaboratively and cooperatively within project teams.
- A competent communicator with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experienced in / with international projects and intercultural teams.
