Commercial Property Associate/Director
Glasgow
Salary dependent on experience
Our client, a highly regarded Scottish commercial law practice, is seeking an experienced commercial property solicitor to join its growing commercial real estate team at Associate Director or Director level.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and entrepreneurial lawyer looking for genuine autonomy, a strong platform for business development, and the opportunity to build and grow a successful practice.
You'll advise on a broad range of businesses, investors, entrepreneurs and owner-managed companies on a variety of commercial property matters, including:
- Commercial acquisitions and disposals
- Land and property transactions
- Landlord and tenant work
- Commercial leasing, assignations and variations
- Property aspects of corporate transactions
- Property finance and security work
- Investment portfolio management
- Large-scale commercial property projects across Scotland

This role is particularly suited to a commercially minded solicitor who enjoys developing relationships, winning work and establishing a strong presence in the market. Whilst internal referrals and cross-selling opportunities are available, candidates should be motivated by the prospect of building and expanding their own client base.
Applicants must have at least seven years post-qualification experience in commercial real estate coupled with the ability to manage transactions independently. You will be commercially aware & relationship-focused and confident in business development and networking activities. You will be ambitious, proactive, self-driven and interested in building a practice and potentially developing a team over time. Applicants must be admitted as a Solicitor in Scotland and hold a current and unrestricted practising certificate.
