You've built a successful legal career. But is the traditional law firm model still working for you? You've spent years developing your expertise, building client relationships, and generating substantial fees.
Yet as your career has progressed, has your freedom grown with it?
Perhaps you're generating significant revenue but seeing only a fraction of it reflected in your remuneration. Maybe partnership has brought more management responsibilities and less time for the legal work you enjoy.
Or perhaps you're simply questioning why, after years of building your reputation and client relationships, you still have so little control over how your practice operates.
What if you could build your own Real Estate practice, without having to build a law firm around it?
We're working with an award-winning boutique law firm offering experienced Commercial Property and Real Estate Solicitors the opportunity to develop their own practice through a supported consultancy model.
What could your earnings look like?
With a 70% fee share, your financial reward is directly linked to the fees your practice generates.
Annual qualifying fees - Your 70% share

- £250,000 - £175,000
- £350,000 - £245,000

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What makes this opportunity different?
More control, less compromise
- Choose your clients, set your fees, and decide how and where you work.
- No required office attendance or conventional billing targets, giving you greater freedom to shape your practice around your ambitions.
The infrastructure of a law firm, without running one
- Dedicated compliance, finance, IT, and administrative teams handle much of the operational burden, allowing you to focus on advising clients and developing relationships.
Support to grow your practice
- Benefit from marketing, PR, and business development initiatives, internal referrals, and opportunities to collaborate with lawyers across other practice areas. These complement, rather than replace, your own client following.
Independence without isolation
- Join a carefully selected network of experienced lawyers who collaborate, share expertise, and support one another. Regular events and professional development help maintain the culture and connections of an established firm.
Who would this suit?
We're particularly interested in:
- Senior Commercial Property and Real Estate Solicitors with established client relationships.
- Partners or Legal Directors considering greater autonomy and financial participation.
- Existing Consultant Solicitors looking for stronger support and collaboration.
- Commercially minded lawyers with an existing or realistically transferable client following.

Could there be a better way to practise law?
Moving into consultancy is a significant decision, and it won't suit everyone. But for the right lawyer, it offers an alternative to the traditional route of salary increases, billing targets, and partnership progression.
The freedom to build a practice on your terms, without building it alone.
You don't need to have decided that consultancy is for you. If you're curious about how the model could work for your circumstances, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.
