About the Opportunity
JA Properties Co. is looking to work with an ambitious, commercially minded individual to originate commercial property acquisition opportunities across selected UK markets.
We acquire properties directly, with a particular focus on industrial and warehouse buildings suitable for conversion to self-storage.
This is a self-employed, commission-only opportunity with no basic salary, paying £20,000 for each qualifying acquisition you originate that proceeds to completion.
We're particularly interested in people who can leverage existing commercial property relationships while also proactively creating new opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Originate commercial property acquisition opportunities
- Build and leverage relationships with commercial agents, owners, surveyors and other market contacts
- Generate off-market and early-stage opportunities through networking and direct outreach
- Speak directly with owners to establish whether there is a genuine opportunity to sell
- Gather the key commercial information needed to assess an opportunity
- Develop relationships capable of generating repeat deal flow

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
