Job Opportunity: Commercial Property Director

A well-established Top 100 law firm is looking for an experienced Commercial Property Director to join its senior team and help develop its presence in Stoke.

This is a senior opportunity for someone who is comfortable working autonomously, managing their own caseload and developing client relationships, while also having the scope to build something longer term. The firm is looking to strengthen its Commercial Property offering in Stoke and, over time, develop a team around the successful candidate.

The wider Commercial Property team is already established across several regional offices, with senior support available from the existing department. The Stoke office is at an earlier stage, giving the successful candidate genuine scope to shape the offering locally.

The Role

  • Manage a broad Commercial Property caseload, handling matters from instruction through to completion
  • Advise clients across a wide range of commercial property transactions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, referrers and professional contacts
  • Generate new business and contribute to the continued growth of the department
  • Build the firm's Commercial Property presence in Stoke
  • Work closely with the existing senior team across the wider region
  • Provide technical support on more complex matters where required
  • Help develop a team in Stoke as the office grows
  • Take responsibility for your own workload and work with a high degree of autonomy

Reasons to use Rodeo

Iโ€™m in my final year doing Economics and I donโ€™t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer โ€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donโ€™t need a masters. Letโ€™s look at the ones youโ€™d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet โ€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
