About The Role
A Commercial Property Fee Earner is sought for a full-time post in Liverpool, joining an established practice in the city centre. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of commercial and residential transactions, handling matters from instruction through to completion. Duties include preparing quotations, drafting and reviewing documentation, and delivering a high standard of client care within a busy property department. Applicants should have at least three years' relevant experience and strong technical knowledge of conveyancing. Scope exists to build a personal client following and generate new instructions. The position offers a salary between £30,000 and £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The Role
You will handle property transactions from instruction through to completion, with responsibilities including:
- Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property matters
- Providing quotations and advising clients on anticipated costs, including legal fees and SDLT
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, transfer deeds and other property documentation
- Conducting searches and reporting to clients and lenders
- Liaising with other parties, mortgage lenders and professional contacts
- Preparing reports on title, financial statements and SDLT/LTT forms
- Dealing with completions and post-completion requirements
- Progressing transactions efficiently and working to deadlines
- Identifying opportunities to develop client relationships and generate new work
The Candidate
Applications are sought from Commercial Property Fee Earners with a minimum of 3 years' recent experience in commercial conveyancing.
You Will Have
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial property transactions
- Experience managing your own caseload from instruction through to completion
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- The confidence to work independently and use your own initiative
- A client-focused approach and the ability to work to deadlines
- An interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business development
