About the Role
Our client, a commercial property business, is seeking a commercially minded solicitor to join on an initial six-month contract, three days a week. This is a hands-on, front-foot role covering day-to-day property work alongside a number of live disputes and corporate matters– ideal for someone confident enough to take the lead and think creatively rather than play it safe.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day commercial property and landlord and tenant matters across a live portfolio of sites
- Support a number of existing commercial litigation matters
- Support partnership and trust disputes, including working out whether certain assets are held within trusts
- Assist on corporate valuation matters
- Coordinate with external solicitors and counsel, keeping instructions moving

Requirements
- Qualified solicitor
- Confident across commercial property and landlord and tenant work, backed by strong commercial litigation experience
- Comfortable handling, or exposed to, partnership, trust or valuation-related disputes
- Robust and hands-on, able to instruct and coordinate external solicitors and counsel independently
Working Arrangements
Largely remote, with a day or two in the client's Leicester office at the start of the assignment to meet the team and see the sites, and occasional on-the-ground time thereafter.
