THE ROLE
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Property Lawyer (qualified Solicitor or CILEx) or Associate, depending on experience, to join our successful and growing team based in our Marks Tey (Colchester) office.
We welcome applications from both full-time candidates and those seeking a 4-day working week.
This role is ideal for an ambitious and commercially minded individual looking to develop their career within a supportive regional practice, handling a varied and high-quality caseload including sales, acquisitions, refinancing, easements, and non-contentious landlord and tenant matters.
You will join a well-established team of six specialist fee earners supported by four experienced secretaries, with access to ongoing mentoring, professional development, and a clear pathway for career progression.
This is an excellent opportunity to further establish your career as a specialist in Commercial Property within a collaborative and friendly environment.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Ideally 3+ years PQE
- Proven experience managing your own caseload, including:
- Registered commercial conveyancing
- Unregistered commercial conveyancing
- Non-contentious landlord and tenant matters
- Corporate finance transactions
- Experience using a case management system
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service
- Experience supporting marketing and business development activities
