Commercial Property Lawyer – Hart Reade LLP

Description

Hart Reade LLP has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Commercial Property Lawyer to join our busy practice.

We Welcome Applications From

  • Qualified Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives
  • Those who are currently working in commercial property law (on a path to qualification) and are looking to progress.

Candidates must be technically sound with a practical and up-to-date knowledge of property law. This is an exciting role with a workload consisting of a mixture of commercial property transactions, commercial leases, and the buying and selling of businesses, all under the supervision of the Head of Commercial.

We are looking for someone with excellent skills in communication, client care, use of IT (preferably with some experience of using a case management system), and with a keen attention to detail. You should be proactive, highly organised, and driven with the ability to market yourself and the practice. Networking will be a key skill to nurture our existing contacts as well as forging new business links within the communities we serve.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
