Job Title: Commercial Property Lawyer

PQE: 2+

Location: North Yorkshire

Salary: Competitive

The Role

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Lawyer to broaden their technical expertise and work on sophisticated transactions alongside a thriving and experienced commercial property team. Working on behalf of an enviable client base (including landowners, commercial property owners and developers), customary work includes the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold commercial and residential property, land acquisitions and disposals, promotion agreements, commercial and residential leases, development work, easements, secured lending and property portfolio financing.

The Candidate

Applications are currently welcomed from individuals boasting at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, however the firm is open to considering candidates with slightly less experience who demonstrates an approach to the law which aligns with the values of the practice. The successful candidate will be eager to develop their legal acumen within a supportive and collaborative team, will enjoy managing their own matters whilst simultaneously supporting senior team members with complex transactions, and show enthusiasm for networking and building client relationships.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
