Commercial Property Manager / Surveyor
Central London
Up to £60,000 base + bonus
23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
The Company
Our client is a privately owned property investment and development group backed by significant private wealth, with a substantial and growing portfolio across Central London and the South East. Alongside a strong commercial base of offices and retail, the wider group also owns an extensive portfolio of hotels and pubs, giving this business a scale and diversity that few privately owned property companies can match.
This is a discreet, entrepreneurial and fast-moving organization. Decisions are made quickly, ownership is hands-on and there's a genuine appetite to invest in and develop the right people. For a Commercial Property Asset Manager looking for autonomy, variety and a business with serious long-term ambition, this is a rare opportunity.
The Role
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of circa 35 commercial assets, spanning offices and retail, with full responsibility for maximizing income, value, and performance across the portfolio. The portfolio spans some of the most sought-after addresses in London, including Mayfair, South Kensington, and Knightsbridge, alongside a number of well-established regional office and retail assets, including a large shopping center of around 100 retail units. This is a role for someone who wants to run their own patch, make decisions, and be trusted in an autonomous environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
