The Role
This role is the opportunity to work exclusively in the real estate finance team in London.
-
Working in a small team led by our Partner, Leila Inman, you'll relish the variety of work for lenders, and the collaborative and supportive environment, working in a team of four dedicated property finance lawyers, with additional resource from our Watford office. This gives you excellent visibility in the firm and a chance to really shine.
-
If you're looking for a role with variety, then this could be just the job. There's a lovely mixture of work, acting largely for lenders in relation to residential and commercial properties for acquisition, development and refinance. Whilst we don't expect you to have extensive knowledge of all areas, you'll ideally be familiar with banking and security documentation and the requisite due diligence work in these transactions.
About Us
We're a Top 100 full-service UK law firm with just over 600 employees. With four offices in London, Bristol, Birmingham, and Watford, you'll be struck by our close-knit and friendly culture. We value authenticity and integrity. Here, you are encouraged to bring your true self to work, whether you are collaborating with teammates or advising clients. That means no corporate pretence or ego, just a collaborative and genuine culture where you truly belong.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
