Property Paralegal

Location: Marlborough, Wiltshire

Salary: £25-35 per hour plus expenses

About the Opportunity

Join a highly regarded specialist boutique law firm advising farming families, landowners, rural clients, and complex private estates. This is a varied commercial property role, working alongside experienced solicitors and partners on transactions involving commercial, agricultural, rural, and landed property interests.

Key Requirements

  • Commercial property paralegal experience, ideally 12 months+
  • Understanding of freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, and lettings
  • Experience with contracts, leases, titles, searches, and enquiries
  • Knowledge of the property process through exchange, completion, and post-completion
  • Strong client and professional stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience with case management systems and the Land Registry portal
  • Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Agricultural, rural, or landed property experience advantageous
  • CILEX, CLC, LPC, or SQE progression welcomed

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supporting commercial property transactions from instruction to completion
  • Drafting contracts, leases, transfers, and property correspondence
  • Reviewing searches, titles, enquiries, and commercial property documentation
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents, lenders, and surveyors
  • Managing transaction dates, progress, and client updates
  • Preparing matters for exchange, completion, and post-completion
  • Managing straightforward matters under supervision
  • Supporting more complex commercial, rural, and agricultural property work
