Commercial Property Paralegal
Location: York City Centre
Salary: £25,000 to £28,000
Experience: Commercial property preferred (strong residential property considered)
A great opportunity for a Property Paralegal to join a supportive York city centre team with clear progression and a strong focus on work-life balance. You’ll support fee earners on a range of commercial property matters, helping keep files moving and delivering a high standard of client service.
Commercial property experience is preferred, but the firm will also consider candidates with solid residential property experience who are keen to move into commercial work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting fee earners on commercial property matters
- Opening files, onboarding and general file management
- Drafting and preparing documents and correspondence
- Managing key dates and progressing matters efficiently
- Liaising with clients and third parties to obtain information and keep matters moving
- Using case management systems and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting the team to deliver a consistently high level of client service

- Commercial property experience preferred (residential property experience considered)
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication and a professional, client-focused approach
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a busy environment
- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn
