Commercial Property Paralegal/Trainee | London & Surrounding Areas
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and detail-oriented Commercial Property Paralegal to join a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm with a strong reputation for excellence and career development.
This established firm offers genuine progression opportunities and the chance to work closely with senior legal professionals within a thriving Real Estate team.
About the Role
Working directly alongside the Head of Real Estate, you will gain hands-on experience across a broad range of commercial property matters while building strong client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing files, managing documentation and maintaining records
- Drafting correspondence and legal documentation
- Completing client onboarding, AML checks and compliance documentation
- Arranging client appointments and managing enquiries
- Providing initial quotations to prospective clients
- Obtaining title documents and submitting property searches
- Preparing SDLT forms, completion statements and invoices
- Managing Land Registry applications and responding to requisitions
- Assisting with contracts, transfer deeds and leases under supervision
- Preparing replies to Commercial Property Standard Enquiries
- Handling pre-completion requisitions and transaction administration
- Supporting billing, file management and general departmental administration

Whilst experience in commercial property, Land Registry procedures and SDLT processes will certainly put you ahead of other applicants, for the right individual these skills can be fully trained on the job. About You
- Strong academic background, including a minimum 2:1 degree
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Professional communication skills and confident telephone manner
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
