Commercial Property Partner

Newport | Flexible Hybrid or Fully Remote

Some firms talk about culture. Others simply get on with delivering exceptional work for exceptional clients.

This is one of those firms.

TSR Legal is working exclusively on behalf of a highly respected South Wales practice that has built an outstanding reputation for its Real Estate offering.

The team advises an impressive mix of developers, commercial landlords, investors, agricultural businesses, charities and owner managed companies on complex, high value property transactions throughout Wales and beyond.

Their reputation has been earned through the quality of their lawyers, the longevity of their client relationships and an approach that places commercial advice ahead of unnecessary process.

Growth has created the opportunity to appoint a Commercial Property Partner who wants more than just another title.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

There are no unrealistic billing targets or expectations of being permanently office based. Instead, the focus is on delivering excellent client service, supporting colleagues and enjoying the flexibility to work in the way that suits you best. Whether that means spending time in the Newport office, working remotely or adopting a hybrid approach, the firm is committed to creating an environment where experienced lawyers can thrive.

The work is broad, varied and consistently high quality. You will advise on acquisitions and disposals, strategic development projects, investment transactions, landlord and tenant matters, portfolio management and complex commercial property issues for a client base that continues to grow through recommendation rather than aggressive marketing.

This opportunity will appeal to an established Commercial Property Partner looking for a fresh environment, or an ambitious Legal Director or Senior Associate who is ready to step into partnership with the backing of an approachable and forward thinking leadership team.

Technical ability is expected, but personality matters just as much. The firm is looking for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, takes pride in delivering practical commercial advice and wants to be part of a partnership where decisions are made quickly, ideas are welcomed and success is genuinely shared.

If you are looking for the quality of work often associated with much larger firms, without sacrificing flexibility, autonomy or balance, this represents one of the most attractive Partner opportunities currently available in the South Wales market.
