Commercial Property Partner / Legal Director / Senior Associate : Shrewsbury Permanent
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Partner, Legal Director or Senior Associate to join a growing law firm in Shrewsbury and play a key role in the continued development of its Commercial Property offering. This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer with an established reputation and strong local connections to join a Top 50 firm with the backing of a highly regarded national Real Estate team.
The Role
The Shrewsbury office is continuing to grow, with the expansion driven by strong client demand across the region. As part of this growth, there is now an opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Property lawyer to help shape and develop the local practice.
You will have the support of a national Real Estate team of more than 80 fee earners, offering expertise across a broad range of areas including:
- General Commercial Property
- Commercial Development
- Real Estate Finance
- Construction
- Investment and Development

This is an opportunity to build on an existing platform rather than start from scratch. You will be able to utilize your own client relationships and market knowledge, whilst benefiting from the firm's established national client base, strong brand and collaborative approach.
There is genuine scope to grow your own practice, develop referral relationships across Shropshire and the wider Borders, and work closely with colleagues across the firm's national network.
The Candidate
The successful candidate is likely to be an experienced Commercial Property Partner, Legal Director or Senior Associate with a strong understanding of the Shropshire and/or wider Borders market.
You will ideally have:
- Strong technical experience in Commercial Property
- An established network of contacts and referral relationships
- A proven track record in business development
- The ambition to build and grow a practice
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- The ability to work collaboratively across teams and offices
- A proactive and entrepreneurial approach
