Role Description
This full-time Commercial Property Solicitor role based in Peterborough with the opportunity to work from home for part of the week. The role involves managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, leases, landlord and tenant work, and property aspects of corporate transactions.

Qualifications

- Strong commercial property expertise, including experience with acquisitions, disposals, leases, landlord and tenant matters, and property-related due diligence.
- Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and written communication skills, with close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines while maintaining high professional standards.
- Strong client care and relationship-building skills, with a commercial mindset and the ability to provide practical, solution-focused advice.
- Comfort with modern legal IT systems, document management tools, and remote-working technologies.
- Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification experience in commercial property law.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small, partner-led team environment.
- Interest in contributing to business development, including networking, referrals, and maintaining the firm’s reputation in the market.
