Commercial Property Solicitor (3+ PQE)

Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 (DOE)
Firm: Legal 500 Ranked Regional Law Firm
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Pattern: Hybrid Working (2–3 Days in the Office)
PQE: 3+ years PQE

Oculus Legal Group are working with a highly respected, multi-office regional firm looking to expand their Legal 500 ranked Commercial Property team due to continued growth and an influx of high-quality work. The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused advice and offers a supportive environment with a high degree of autonomy and trust.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a forward-thinking team, handling a varied and engaging caseload while playing a key role in the team’s ongoing expansion.

The Candidate

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with both clients and colleagues are essential.
  • You will have solid experience in commercial property matters and be confident managing your own caseload with appropriate support.

The Opportunity

The team advises on a wide variety of commercial property matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
  • Drafting and negotiating leases, licences and renewals
  • Secured lending and property finance
  • Options, overage and development matters
  • Corporate support on business acquisitions and disposals
  • General landlord and tenant work
  • Property management matters, including dilapidations, rent reviews, assignments and subletting
  • Development site work, new builds and pre-letting matters
