Commercial Property Solicitor (4–6 PQE) | City of London | £65k - £80k DOE | Hybrid Working

The Opportunity

A well-established, award-winning boutique City law firm with a global reach, recognised by Spear’s 500 and ranked by Chambers, is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with 4–6 years’ PQE to join its London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable lawyer to manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters while working closely with the Partner to support the continued growth and development of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting for landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers, you will advise on a broad range of matters, including:
  • General landlord and tenant work, including drafting and negotiating leases, underleases, licences and deeds of surrender
  • Acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold property, including single and mixed-use assets
  • Option agreements, overage provisions and TOGCs
  • Expired commercial leases, including periodic tenancies, trespassers and mesne profits
  • Preparing detailed title reports and advising on risk and mitigation strategies
  • Auction sales and purchases
  • Matters involving unregistered land
  • Providing property support on corporate transactions
  • Supporting the HOD/Partner with aspects of team administration, management and networking

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified solicitor with 4–6 years’ PQE in commercial property
  • Strong technical ability across a broad range of matters
  • Strong academic background
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own caseload
  • Proactive, commercially minded and able to take ownership of your work
  • Collaborative approach and excellent work ethic
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
