Commercial Property Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive
Canterbury | Hybrid Working | Full or Part-Time
A highly regarded and long-established regional law firm is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor or experienced Chartered Legal Executive to join its successful Commercial Property team in Canterbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with around 3+ years' PQE who is confident managing their own caseload and enjoys building strong client relationships. You will join a supportive team handling high-quality commercial property work for a diverse and established client base across Kent and the South East.
The Role
You will advise on a broad range of commercial property matters, including:
- Sale and purchase of commercial property
- Commercial leases, including grants, renewals, and assignments
- Property development matters
- Contracts subject to planning
- Overage and option agreements
- Asset sales and acquisitions
- Commercial lending and secured lending transactions
- Managing matters from instruction through to completion

The team acts for a varied client portfolio including developers, investors, lenders, business owners, occupiers, and high-net-worth individuals.
About You
You will be:
- A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Experienced in handling a varied commercial property caseload
- Able to manage transactions with minimal supervision
- Commercially aware and client-focused
- Keen to develop professional relationships and contribute to business development activities
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working within a successful and supportive environment
