Job Opportunity: Experienced Commercial Property Solicitor

If you’re an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor who wants a varied caseload, genuine client relationships and the opportunity to play an important role within an established team, this is a chance to take ownership of quality commercial property work while continuing to develop your career.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own matters, advise clients across a broad range of commercial property transactions and use your experience to support colleagues within the wider team.

The Package

  • Salary: £60,000–£75,000, depending on experience
  • Working Hours: Hybrid working, Monday to Friday

The Company & Role

Harte Recruitment is working with an established Yorkshire law firm looking for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join its Corporate and Commercial team.

You'll advise clients across the full spectrum of commercial property work, managing your own caseload while building strong, long-term client relationships and maintaining an active pipeline of work.

It's a role for somebody who can operate autonomously but also enjoys being part of a collaborative team, using their experience to support and supervise colleagues where required.

The Person

  • Experience: Ideally 5–9 years' PQE with relevant Commercial Property experience
  • Minimum Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a Commercial Property Solicitor role
  • Previous Experience: Previous commercial experience essential
  • Education: Law degree or equivalent qualification
  • Skills:
    • Strong commercial awareness and professional integrity
    • Excellent client-service skills
    • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide practical, risk-based solutions
    • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
    • Confident using Microsoft Office and case-management systems
  • Advantageous: Regular access to a car would be advantageous
