Commercial Property Solicitor Leicester
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join an established and growing legal team based in Leicester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor looking to work on a varied caseload of commercial property matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You'll have the opportunity to work closely with a broad range of clients, taking ownership of transactions and providing practical, commercially focused legal advice.
The Role
As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload and advise clients across a range of commercial property transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion
- Acting for a range of commercial clients, investors, landlords and occupiers
- Handling acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
- Drafting and negotiating leases, licences and related documentation
- Advising on landlord and tenant matters
- Dealing with property finance and security documentation where required
- Reviewing and reporting on title and property-related documentation
- Managing transactions efficiently and ensuring key deadlines are met
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other professional advisers
- Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
- Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of service
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulatory and professional requirements

About You
We're looking for a solicitor with solid experience in commercial property who is confident managing matters with a good degree of autonomy.
You should have:
- Qualified solicitor status in England & Wales
- Relevant commercial property experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial property transactions
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related documents
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- A commercially minded and client-focused approach
- The confidence to build strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
