About The Role

A new opportunity has arisen for a commercial Property Solicitor (1+ PQE) to join a busy Commercial Property team in Chepstow and surrounding areas. You will work on a varied transactional caseload for businesses, investors, developers and landowners, with responsibility increasing in line with your experience.

The Role Will Involve

  • Advise on acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold commercial property.
  • Handle landlord and tenant matters, including new leases, renewals, assignments and licences.
  • Support development, secured lending and property portfolio transactions where required.
  • Carry out due diligence, raise and respond to enquiries and report clearly to clients and lenders.
  • Develop strong client relationships and contribute to the wider growth of the property team.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will

  • Be a qualified solicitor in England and Wales, or due to qualify shortly where the role is at NQ level.
  • Have relevant commercial property experience through a training seat or post-qualification caseload.
  • Demonstrate sound drafting, organisation and transaction-management skills.
  • Communicate confidently with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors.
  • Take a practical, commercial and proactive approach to progressing matters.
