Here at VWV
Our Chambers recognised Commercial Property team are looking for an enthusiastic and client-facing Solicitor, ideally at the relatively early stages of their post-qualified career, to join our Bristol office.
The opportunity
Our wider Real Estate department is headed up by Partner Michelle Bendall, with teams across all of our offices, recognising our breadth and strength in servicing a strong national client base.
Your new role sits within the Commercial Property team, working alongside Legal Director, Richard Vann Jones and Senior Associate, Rory Young, who handle a broad spectrum of work for a diverse client base, including banks, developers, local authorities, and private sector clients. Your workload will be varied and interesting, and will cover landlord and tenant matters, acquisitions and disposals, development and property finance. The team regularly work with high-profile clients on complex transactions, meaning you'll be involved in quality, high-calibre matters.
This is a sociable and collaborative role where you'll enjoy working closely with colleagues in other teams and offices. We're always keen to ensure our lawyers gain real client contact, especially during the early stages of their qualified career, and so you'll be encouraged to manage your own caseload from an early stage within a supportive framework for supervision to nurture personal development and growth for your future career with us.

About You
Ideally, you'll have a couple of years' experience under your belt, working in a Commercial Property team on a variety of matters. You do not need to have experience in a specific sector, but you should be resilient, self-motivated, enthusiastic, passionate and willing to learn.
