Commercial Property Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive

Salary: £45,000-£60,000
Location: Huntingdon
Firm: Well-Established Multi-Office Regional Law Firm
Experience Required: 1+ Years PQE
Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Flexible Working

The Firm

Oculus Legal Group is proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded multi-office regional law firm that has built an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional commercial property advice to businesses, landowners, developers, and investors across the region.

Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative department where you'll receive genuine support from experienced colleagues whilst benefiting from exposure to a consistently high calibre of commercial property work.

The Opportunity

Working closely with a highly respected Commercial Property Partner, you'll gain hands-on exposure to complex and high-value transactions that will significantly broaden your technical expertise and commercial awareness.

Rather than being left to manage files in isolation, you'll benefit from regular mentoring and guidance, giving you the opportunity to develop your knowledge across a range of commercial property matters whilst continuing to build confidence in your own practice.

Your workload will include:

  • Commercial landlord and tenant matters, including grants, assignments, surrenders, and LTA 1954 renewals.
  • Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals.
  • Property finance and secured lending transactions.
  • Easements, options, and overage agreements.
  • Conditional sale agreements and promotion agreements.
  • Site assembly, ransom strips, and sub-station leases.
  • Acting for landowners in disposals to developers and advising on development projects.

The Candidate

Applications are welcomed from Commercial Property Solicitors or Chartered Legal Executives with 1+ years' PQE who are looking to continue developing their expertise within a highly respected team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong experience across a broad range of commercial property matters.
  • Excellent technical ability and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
  • A genuine ambition to continue developing within a supportive and growing team.
