As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor or Commercial Real Estate Lawyer to join our team either as a full-time employee or on a consultant basis.
The Role
You will play a key role in growing and developing our Commercial Property practice, advising a broad range of clients on acquisitions, disposals, leasing arrangements, development projects and property finance matters.
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, technically strong and confident managing matters from initial instruction through to completion.

Acquisitions & Disposals
- Commercial property purchases and sales
- Investment property acquisitions
- Portfolio acquisitions and disposals
- Auction purchases and sales
- Due diligence investigations
- Title reviews and reporting
- Land Registry matters
- Supporting clients with property finance arrangements

Landlord & Tenant Matters
- Lease assignments
- Underletting and subletting
- Possession matters
- Rent recovery issues
- Tenant defaults
- Commercial occupation disputes
- General landlord and tenant advisory work
Development & Property Projects
- Site acquisitions
- Development agreements
- Option agreements
- Overage agreements
- Conditional contracts
- Collaboration with lenders, agents, surveyors and other stakeholders
Business Development
- Building relationships with clients and referrers
- Identifying opportunities for cross-referrals across the firm
- Participating in networking and marketing initiatives
- Contributing to the growth of the commercial property department
About You
Essential
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with commercial property expertise
- Minimum 5 years' PQE (guideline only)
- Strong experience across commercial acquisitions, disposals and leasing matters
- Ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Commercially aware and client-focused
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills

- Existing client following or referral network
- Experience acting for developers and investors
- Experience in property finance transactions
- Experience supervising junior lawyers or support staff
