Commercial Property Solicitor – Wirral

Location: Wirral
Department: Property

PQE: 3–5+ years
Following: Ideally brings an existing client following or strong commercial contacts

We’re working with a respected Wirral law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join their expanding Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, commercially minded lawyer who can manage a varied caseload, build client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the department.

The Role

You’ll handle a broad range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, landlord and tenant work, development, secured lending and portfolio management. You’ll be expected to progress matters efficiently, maintain exceptional client care, and support junior colleagues where required. Candidates with an existing following or strong commercial contacts will be particularly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied commercial property caseload from instruction to completion
  • Providing clear, timely communication to clients and maintaining strong relationships
  • Delivering high standards of client care and professional conduct
  • Ensuring confidentiality and secure handling of all documentation
  • Meeting billing, time‑recording and financial targets
  • Maintaining accurate records within the firm’s case management system
  • Ensuring full compliance with SRA Principles, CQS Practice Management Standards and internal policies
  • Supporting junior fee earners and contributing to departmental development
  • Engaging in business development, networking and raising the firm’s profile

  • 3–5+ years’ PQE in commercial property
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial property matters
  • Ideally brings an existing following or strong commercial client contacts
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Confident managing files independently and working to deadlines
  • Strong understanding of compliance, AML and regulatory requirements
  • Professional, organised and commercially focused
