About The Role

A Commercial Property Solicitor with at least three years’ PQE is sought by a respected Wiltshire firm to join its established property practice. This full-time position offers a salary between £65,000 and £75,000, dependent on experience. The role involves advising private clients on diverse rural and commercial transactions, including the acquisition, disposal, and leasing of farms, estates, and substantial landholdings. You will handle complex, high-value matters involving development opportunities and intricate legal structures. The position requires strong technical knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. This is a chance to manage a challenging caseload within a supportive team, based in Wiltshire.

The Role

As part of this impressive specialist property team, you will advise private clients on a broad range of rural and commercial property transactions.

  • The work is varied, challenging, and often involves high-value assets and complex legal structures.
  • Handling the acquisition, disposal, and leasing of farms, estates, rural businesses, and other significant landholdings.
  • Working on matters involving development opportunities, option agreements, promotion agreements, conditional contracts, joint ventures, land restructures, and other bespoke arrangements.
  • Acting as the principal point of contact for clients, delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice and maintaining strong, lasting relationships.

Skills Required

Applications are sought from Property Solicitors with a minimum of 3 Years PQE with experience in commercial property, rural property, or agricultural land transactions.

  • You will be confident managing complex matters independently.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Enjoy developing trusted relationships with clients.
  • This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the region's most significant rural property transactions within a supportive, collaborative team that values technical excellence and professional development.
