Commercial Property Solicitor

South Wales | 2+ PQE | Hybrid

Yolk Legal is working with an established and growing South Wales law firm that is looking to appoint a Commercial Property Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE.

This is an opportunity for a solicitor who wants more than just a transactional role. You'll join a developing commercial property team, work with a varied client base and have the opportunity to build relationships, take ownership of matters and develop your career.

The Role

You'll handle a broad range of commercial property work for a varied client base, including businesses, developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and corporate clients.

Your caseload will include:

  • Commercial property acquisitions and disposals
  • Freehold and leasehold transactions
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial leases
  • Landlord and tenant matters
  • Assignments, underlettings, renewals, licences, and variations
  • Property development and investment work
  • Property finance and security matters
  • Easements, covenants, overage, and associated title work

You'll also have the opportunity to develop direct client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the department.

About You

We're looking for a qualified solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in commercial property who is confident handling a varied caseload.

You'll ideally have:

  • Solid experience across commercial property transactions
  • Good knowledge of commercial leases and freehold matters
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills

  • The ability to manage your own workload and competing deadlines
  • A genuine interest in developing your career within commercial property
