Are you passionate about assessing and managing commercial property risks?
We’re looking for a Commercial Property Underwriter to join our team. You’ll play a key role in underwriting and managing a portfolio of commercial property owners’ insurance risks. This is your chance to make a real impact while working in a supportive and inclusive environment.

How You'll Make An Impact
- Underwrite commercial property risks, including residential and commercial landlords, mixed occupancy properties, and high-value portfolios.
- Assess new business, renewals, and policy amendments, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Build strong relationships with brokers, negotiating terms and pricing to secure profitable business.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and take corrective action to meet growth and profitability targets.
- Support broker development initiatives and contribute to product development and underwriting strategies.
About You
- You’ve got experience underwriting Commercial Property Owners insurance and a strong understanding of property risks.
- You’re skilled at analysing risk information, including property values, construction details, and claims history.
- You’re a great communicator and negotiator, with a proven ability to build strong broker relationships.
- You’re detail-oriented, commercially aware, and confident in making decisions.
- Ideally, you hold or are working towards a Cert CII, Dip CII, or ACII qualification.
