Shape the opportunities that drive NEP UK's future growth by joining our evolving Commercial team.
This is an opportunity to sit at the heart of some of NEP UK's most significant commercial opportunities, leading major bids, tenders, renewals and strategic proposals across a business delivering some of the UK's biggest live sporting and entertainment productions.
You'll bring structure, pace and commercial thinking to how we pursue opportunities, working across Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Finance and the wider NEP Group to turn complex client requirements into compelling, deliverable propositions.
Just as importantly, you'll help us build an increasingly disciplined and scalable approach to bids, pipeline and commercial planning as NEP UK enters its next phase of growth.
The Opportunity
This is much broader than writing proposals. You'll have visibility across NEP UK's commercial pipeline and play an important role in deciding how we prepare for, develop and respond to major opportunities.
From identifying what's coming and mobilising the right people early, through to coordinating pricing, shaping the proposition and delivering the final submission, you'll create momentum and accountability around the opportunities that matter most.
You'll also lead and develop our Commercial Proposal Coordinators, creating the capacity for the wider Commercial team to spend more time with clients, developing accounts and pursuing new business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Bid leadership and solution development – take ownership of high-value RFPs, RFIs, tenders, renewals and strategic proposals from initial qualification through to submission and post-bid review, ensuring every response has a clear strategy and compelling proposition.
- Bring the business together with commercial management and proposal quality – coordinate expertise from Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Assets, Crewing, Logistics and Finance, turning complex technical and operational inputs into coherent, commercially sound proposals.
- Create commercial visibility with Salesforce, pipeline and account planning – maintain a clear forward view of pipeline, renewals, forecast, risk and revenue gaps, using Salesforce and commercial data to give senior leaders meaningful insight and support better decisions.
- Build a stronger proposals function with governance, improvement and team leadership – lead and develop the Commercial Proposal Coordinators and establish consistent ways of working that improve the quality, pace and discipline of proposal delivery across NEP UK.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience within broadcast, media, live events, technology, engineering or another complex service environment would be valuable, but we're equally interested in people who can bring excellent proposal leadership from another sector.
Why NEP?
NEP operates at the centre of live production, supporting some of the most recognised sporting and entertainment events in the world.
For someone joining our NEP UK Commercial team, that creates a genuinely interesting proposition. The opportunities we pursue can be technically complex, operationally challenging, high-value and multi-year – and rarely look exactly the same twice.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Influence significant commercial opportunities and see the direct impact of your work on NEP UK's future growth.
- Work across the whole business, alongside experienced commercial, operational, technical and financial specialists.
- Help shape how we work, strengthening our approach to bids, proposals and commercial planning rather than simply inheriting an established process.
- Build and lead capability, developing a proposals team that becomes an important part of how NEP identifies and converts future opportunities.
About NEP UK
