About the Firm

Its London real estate practice is regarded as a trusted adviser to institutional investors, developers, private equity funds, sovereign wealth entities, REITs, operators, and major financial institutions. The team is at the forefront of trends shaping the market, with substantial expertise in build-to-rent (BTR), purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), senior living, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and logistics.

The Role

You will join a highly regarded commercial real estate practice that acts on premium, complex transactions often involving innovative structuring and multidisciplinary coordination. The scope of work includes:

  • Major Development Projects: Advising on flagship central London mixed-use schemes and complex forward funding and forward purchase arrangements.
  • Portfolio Transactions: Acting on the acquisition and disposal of large-scale property portfolios across the UK and Europe, including logistics, retail parks, and living sector assets.
  • Investment and Joint Ventures: Structuring strategic joint ventures between developers, institutional capital, and sovereign funds for long-term real estate platforms.
  • Corporate Real Estate: Supporting significant M&A activity involving real estate-heavy assets such as care homes, hospitality groups, and student accommodation operators.
  • Real Estate Finance: Advising lenders and borrowers on financing arrangements for acquisition and development, including bespoke secured lending structures.

What They’re Looking For

  • 1–2 PQE solicitor with excellent commercial real estate experience from a leading firm
  • Strong track record in investment and/or development transactions for high-profile institutional clients
  • Experience with complex structures such as forward purchase, forward funding, and joint ventures desirable
  • Understanding of key commercial drivers and ability to deliver pragmatic solutions
  • Strong academic credentials, technical precision, and clear communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-performing, client-focused team
