Commercial Real Estate Loan Servicing Associate

We are working with a leading credit management business looking to appoint an Associate within its Commercial Real Estate Loan Servicing team.

This is a great opportunity to join a highly regarded business and gain exposure across the full commercial real estate loan lifecycle, supporting established client mandates and a varied portfolio of loans.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ongoing loan management from deal closure through to maturity
  • Reviewing property, borrower, financial and covenant information
  • Preparing clear credit reports and recommendations for clients
  • Analysing rent rolls, tenancy schedules, operating statements and business plans
  • Reviewing borrower requests against lending criteria and risk appetite
  • Supporting Asset Managers across multiple client mandates
  • Liaising with borrowers, lenders, valuers, lawyers, property managers and other external advisers
  • Preparing for and attending client asset review meetings
  • Ensuring loan and portfolio data is accurately maintained on internal systems

What we’re looking for:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience within commercial real estate and a related credit environment
  • Commercial loan servicing experience gained within a bank, financial institution or third-party servicer
  • Strong analytical skills and an understanding of loan structures, covenant compliance and borrower reporting
  • Experience reviewing LMA-style finance documents would be beneficial
  • The ability to write clear and concise credit recommendations
  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills
  • Strong Excel and wider Microsoft Office skills
