Senior Associate - Real Estate
A major international law firm is looking to add a Senior Associate to one of the most established real estate practices in the London market.
The Team
The team operates across the full property lifecycle, with particular strength in high-value development, investment, complex joint ventures, and real estate finance. Its broader platform includes planning, construction, disputes, funds, and tax, giving associates the opportunity to work on transactions where the real estate issues sit within a wider corporate or financing structure.
The client base includes major institutional investors, private capital, and other significant domestic and international participants in the property market. The practice regularly handles substantial residential and commercial developments, investment transactions, and sophisticated financing arrangements.

The Role
You will take a senior role on transactional matters, with responsibility for managing your own workstreams and maintaining direct client relationships. Alongside technical delivery, you will supervise and develop junior lawyers, coordinate larger deal teams, and contribute to client development.
The team is particularly interested in lawyers who can offer meaningful experience across both transactional real estate and real estate finance.

You Will Ideally Have:
- 5–9 years’ PQE, or equivalent experience.
- Strong transactional commercial real estate experience.
- Experience of real estate finance transactions.
- Training and experience gained within a leading City or strong regional practice.
- Excellent drafting, technical, and project-management skills.
- Experience managing matters and junior lawyers with a high degree of autonomy.
- A strong academic record, including a minimum 2:1 degree.
