Our client is a well-established specialist engineering company with over 15 years of successful operation within the commercial refrigeration and HVAC sector. They are a business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality service to commercial customers across London and the M25.

The company currently employs a close-knit team and carries out work for a variety of clients including hotels, restaurants, golf courses, and other commercial premises.

The Role

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Mobile Refrigeration Engineer to join their team, covering London, the M25, and surrounding Home Counties.

This is primarily a refrigeration-focused role, although candidates with strong air conditioning experience will be viewed favourably. The successful candidate will carry out service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair work on a wide range of commercial refrigeration equipment.

The business is looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team and is willing to support colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of the company.

  • Walk-in chillers and cold rooms
  • Commercial refrigerators

  • Wine chillers
  • Ice machines
  • Compressors and refrigeration systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown work.
  • Fault finding and repair of commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Compressor replacements and major component repairs.
  • Diagnosing and resolving refrigeration system issues.
  • Providing excellent customer service across a varied client portfolio.
  • Assisting with other areas of the business when required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Refrigeration Engineer.
  • Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
  • Experience working on commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Valid F-Gas qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Air conditioning experience would be advantageous.
  • Flexible and team-oriented attitude.
  • Willingness to support a growing business and contribute beyond the day-to-day role.
