Refrigeration Service & Installation Engineer
Craven Cooling Sales Ltd specialises in commercial refrigeration. We're based in Swansea and are looking for an experienced field-based engineer to cover South Wales and surrounding areas.
Full-time | Permanent | Field-based
The Work
- Reactive breakdowns: fault-finding and repair on refrigeration and electrical systems
- Installing and commissioning commercial refrigeration: cold rooms, integral and remote refrigeration, condensing units, cellar cooling and serve-over counters
- Pipework, brazing, pressure testing, evacuation and charging
- Replacing compressors, valves, fans, controllers and other components
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits to agreed schedules
- F-Gas leak checks, refrigerant recovery and record-keeping
- Completing job sheets and service reports accurately
- Dealing with customers professionally on site

What You'll Need
- F-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079 or equivalent)
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration, or time-served equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience required in commercial refrigeration service and installation
- Confident and competent working on R290 and other hydrocarbon (flammable) refrigerants
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to work on your own and manage your own workload
